The City of Düsseldorf and the Russian capital have been joined by a municipal partnership for 15 years now, creating a reliable political framework for establishing and intensifying commercial contacts.
The Düsseldorf Russia Competence Center (Russland Kompetenzzentrum Düsseldorf - RKD) is unique in Germany. It has firmly established itself as a preferred point of contact for both Russian and German companies.
Thanks to the activities of Messe Düsseldorf and the successful work of the RKD, Düsseldorf's role as a centre for German-Russian business relations has continuously expanded over the years.
